I Thought Therapy Didn't Work for Me... Until Neume Counseling

On three memorable occasions, life’s challenges led me to a counselor’s door. I wish I could say talk therapy worked wonders for me right away, but that wasn’t my experience — at least not the first time.
After the birth of my second child, I was deep in postpartum depression. The counselor kept asking me, session after session, “How do you feel?” By the fourth visit, I finally looked at her and said, “Terrible.” I never went back.
Years later, two close friends kept recommending a completely different kind of therapy. I scoffed on the inside and politely made excuses on the outside.
Then one friend looked me straight in the eye and said, “Look, I know you don’t want to hear this again, but would you please just try it once? There’s nothing else like it. If you don’t get anything out of the very first session, I promise I’ll never mention it again.”
I rolled my eyes, sighed… and wrote down the number.

So let me ask you the same question my friend asked me:
Are you willing to give Neume Counseling a try?
